Model Environment (ME) is a female-owned small business based in Huntsville, Alabama, dedicated to restoring and protecting the natural world through hands-on environmental service.
Founded in 2011 by Christy Beck in Los Angeles, California, ME began as a creative platform where fashion models—dubbed “Models for Earth”—shared their environmental efforts through community cleanups, simple waste-reduction tips, and eye-catching short-form videos. Christy, a former model booker, merged her background in arts and entertainment with her passion for sustainability to spark a movement that emphasized individual impact.
As the mission grew, so did the community. ME expanded to include people from all walks of life—because caring for the Earth isn’t just for models; it’s a shared responsibility.
In 2015, Model Environment was re-established in Huntsville, where our reputation for waterway cleanups and community litter pickups led to an ongoing partnership with the City of Huntsville.
Today, ME proudly serves as a city vendor, providing reliable, respectful, and eco-conscious cleanup services.
Through strategic partnerships, ME pays its Earth Advocates a fair wage while delivering cost-effective, passionate environmental services. For our team, it’s more than a job—it’s a calling.
